Can I change the temperature display from F to °C?
Honest truth? We could've squeezed in a Fahrenheit toggle but that means extra wiring and circuitry. Every millimeter we spend on switches is a millimeter not spent on room for your pens, vials and supplies. We picked storage over settings. Your insulin gets the space; the thermometer gets one very confident, very precise °C reading.
Will my insulin freeze solid in here? I don't want ice-cream insulin.
No frosty surprises here. The triple-layer insulation is designed to keep things cool, not Arctic. Your insulin stays in its safe zone so no thawing dramas required.
Can I take this through airport security?
Absolutely, it's basically a very organized, very cool pencil case. TSA and most airlines are used to seeing insulin travel cases so pack it in your carry-on and fly with confidence (just keep your prescription info handy, as always).
Can I just toss in any random ice pack from my freezer instead of the included ones?
You could but the included packs are shaped and sized to hug the compartment perfectly, like they were made for each other (because they were). Random freezer ice packs are more of a "it's complicated" situation, less snug fit, less reliable cooling.
What if I'm nowhere near a freezer when my ice packs run out?
We understand that Insulin doesn't care about our travel plans but the good news is you've got more wiggle room than you think. A hotel mini-fridge, a gas station cooler, even a bag of convenience-store ice pressed against the case for a while can buy you extra time. The triple-layer insulation is already working in the background to slow the warm-up, so it's rarely an instant emergency just a "sooner rather than later" situation, not a countdown clock.
